I recently got wind of a brand of low priced smokeless cigarettes that are rechargeable and being a smoker myself, was genuinely surprised that I haven’t heard of this before. Let’s just say that my curiosity got the best of me and so here I am researching this supposedly new technology of smoking.

Technically, the device in question is better known as electronic cigarettes or simply e-cigarettes. It would appear that it was invented primarily to suppress the urge of smoking so smokers can go back to their non smoking days or just simply quit smoking.

I know all too well the dangers of smoking, but the thing with this addiction is that you can’t just simply throw in the towel and procliam to the world that you’re done puffing smoke.

That’s because the urge will always get to you and it’s just too tempting. Next thing you know is you’re making up excuses to light that cigarette again.

Blame this on the body’s acquired nicotine dependence so any attempt to block ingestion will most likely result to unpleasant sensations more popularly known as withdrawal symptoms.

This is where e-cigarettes are most effective as it mimics the act of smoking thereby tricking the body to decrease nicotine intake without experiencing withdrawal side effects.
